<p>The invention relates to novel, substituted 1-propene derivatives of formula (I), wherein X and Y are independently from each other unsubstituted or halogen substituted phenyl or benzyl group, as well as acid addition salts thereof, pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds and a process for the preparation of the above compounds and compositions. The compounds of the invention possess antiischaemic and/or antihypoxic activity. The invention relates also to a method for treating mammals (including human) suffering from ischaemia or hypoxia, by administering one or more therapeutically effective dose(s) of the compounds of the invention.</p> |
