PURPOSE:To comparatively easily generate a drawing in which accuracy is required such as a map whose generation needs labor by allocating a graphic on a background and a picture on a foreground and displaying a video obtained by synthesizing display data of a graphic editing display memory and that of a picture editing display memory. CONSTITUTION:A processor unit 1 controlling a whole device, ROM 2 storing the control program of a system and the like, RAM 3 becoming the work area of a program, the storage device 4 of a hardware disk and the like storing the data file of the graphic and the picture, plural dot matrix-formed editing display screen memories 5 for developing display data, a display controller 6, the display device 7 of a CRT display and the like and the input devices 8-10 of a keyboard and the like are provided. Graphic generation means 1-4 plot the rough drawing on the graphic editing display memory in the memories 5, a screen where the graphic is plotted is set to be the background, the minute part of the drawing is plotted on the picture editing display memory in the memories 5 as the foreground, and the drawing is completed on the display device 7. |
