PURPOSE:To prevent the interference of radio waves by dividing a radio signal in time obtained by receiving a radio wave through a switching device and converting respective divided signals into optical signals and transmitting the optical signals to a retransmitting base station. CONSTITUTION:A microwave radio wave obtained by modulating data to be transmitted is transmitted from the base station 3, and when an antenna 12 for a repeater station 1 receives the radio wave, the radio signal is inputted to an amplifier 14 with an automatic gain adjusting function through an amplifier 13. At the time, the radio signal held at a prescribed level is switched in time by a switching circuit 16. The switched radio signals are respectively converted into optical signals by laser diodes 18a, 18b, and when the optical signals arrive at respective retransmitting base stations 2a, 2b, the optical signals are respectively converted into electric signals by PIN photodiodes 21a, 21b and the electric signals are radiated from respective antennas again to air through respective band filters 22a, 22b and amplifiers 23a, 23b and arrive at a mobile station 4. |
