<p>Buccal respiratory mask comprising a shell (1) comprising an adaptor (2) for connection to a respirator tube and a seal (3) which is applied against the area surrounding the patient's mouth. The mask may comprise a tab (4) or a lug for securing a fastening strap (5) that secures the mask to the patient's face. The mask of the invention in generally used for non-invasive mechanical ventilation of patients suffering form transient respiratory failure.</p> |
