<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a picture from being disturbed at the time of switching a channel in a dynamic image transmission system. CONSTITUTION:When a dynamic image channel selected by a channel selector 1 is switched, the coded data of a newly selected dynamic image channel are decoded by a picture decoder 3 and an encoded area is detected by a refresh detector 5 by using only intra-frame correlation. The detected result is stored in an area information memory 6 as a refresh address 56. When the channel is switched, a control part 7 applies a gate control signal 74 to a gate circuit 4 to mute the output of a decoded picture 34, thereafter monitors the contents of the mamory 6, and when areas in the dynamic image frame are refreshed, applies the gate control signal 74 to the gate circuit 4 to output the picture 34 to a picture output 100.</p> |
