The invention relates to a device for towing touring or utility vehicles, of the sort with tow bars, capable of being placed between the towing vehicle and the towed vehicle. The device according to the invention essentially includes two identical arms (1) and (2), each provided at one end with a first means (3, 4) connecting it respectively to two separate anchoring points (5) and (6) belonging to the towed vehicle (7) and, at the other end, with a second means (8, 9) connecting it to a module (10) which includes a third means (11) connecting the said module to an anchoring point (12) belonging to the towing vehicle (13). <IMAGE>
