PURPOSE:To provide the winding/forming method for a spiral electrode body capable of preventing a winding collapse during the winding work and improving the yield and work efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode plate 4 is installed on the recessed groove section 4a of an upper guide block 2a, and a positive electrode plate 6 is installed on the recessed groove section 6a of a lower guide block 3b. A separator 5 is installed on the recessed groove sections 5a of guide blocks 2b, 3a respectively on different steps from the negative electrode plate 4 and the positive electrode plate 6, mating end sections of the positive electrode plate 6 and the negative electrode plate 4 are fixed to the surface and back of the separator 5 via adhesive tapes 11, then the center in the longitudinal direction of the separator 5 is sandwiched by a winding shaft 1 and rotated. A weight 9 coupled with the recessed groove section 5a and slidable in the longitudinal direction is mounted on the separator on the upper guide block 3a side, and the upper guide block 2a is mounted on the separator 5 out the lower guide block 2b side. |
