PURPOSE:To accurately prevent an accidental rotation of a tape windup hub and consequent slackening of the tape when tape cassette is in storage, in a cassette case for housing a tape cassette, in which a slider to open and close hub driving shaft inserting holes is mounted to the cassette body housing wherein the tape windup hub is housed in a rotatable manner. CONSTITUTION:The structure of a cassette case 20 comprises the locking projections 27 provided on the case body 21 thereof and a slider release means (slider locking release projections 28 and slider moving projections 29) provided on the inner surface of a lid body 22 opposite to such locking projections 27. In this structure, a slider 13 is first opened by the slider release means when a tape cassette is cased, the tape cassette 1 is then turned over and put in the case and the locking projections 27 are inserted into hub driving shaft inserting holes 5 for engagement with a hub 6. |
