PURPOSE:To properly maintain drivability along a driver's demand by gradually stopping the control of a torque adjustment means when a traction control means is judged to be in fail-safe state, and performing a feedback correction for a torque adjusting amount toward the prescribed direction. CONSTITUTION:During the travel of a vehicle, a slip control means 70 makes a comparison between a slip amount based upon output signals from front and rear, and right and left wheel speed sensors 66FL to 66RR, and a target slip amount set on the basis of travel speed, road mu or the like, thereby making judgement about the occurrence of slip. When slip occurs, traction control or brake control is performed. In this case, when the slip control means 70 judges that fail state exists therein during the traction control, the control of a torque adjustment means including a throttle valve 45 or the like is gradually stopped and a feed back correction is performed for a torque adjustment amount toward the prescribed direction, thereby resetting the travel of the vehicle to normal drive mode without any feeling of physical disorder. |
