Device for the elastic mounting of a driven unit in a fixed holder

A device which serves for the elastic mounting of a driven unit is proposed. The device comprises a fixed holder on which the unit is supported by interposing elastic damping elements with several wall areas, which are arranged at a distance from one another in the peripheral direction of the unit. An especially advantageous mounting device with excellent properties with regard to the damping of vibrations which occur during operation of the unit and can lead to undesirable noises is obtained when the damping elements are designed as rolling bodies and are arranged in each case between rolling paths of the holder facing one another and the wall areas with slight deformation and when, furthermore, the distances between the rolling paths allocated to one another and facing one another are reduced in all rolling directions from a maximum size adapted to the diameter of the rolling body. <IMAGE>
