The invention relates to an animal carrier made of flat, flexible material which has handles mounted on its sides and, if required, metal eyelets also. Its size, thickness and also the number of handles and of eyelets depend on the type of animal to be transported. The animal carrier can be used wherever transport of animals cannot be carried out by vehicles or transport carts as a result of structural or geographical obstacles. The transport of heavy animals with the animal carrier is possible by carrying or pulling, with the aid of the pulling or carrying belts or by suspending the carrier by means of chains or wire cables with spring hooks and iron rings, e.g. on the front loader of a tractor. The rectangular tube iron constructions offer a safe transport possibility for the carrier, when suspended on the fork of a fork lift truck.
