<p>PURPOSE:To surely perform the switching of an operation mode caused by the detection of the trailing edge of a tape with simple constitution even when a rotation transmitting system is different. CONSTITUTION:A transmission gear 45a always meshed with a driving gear 46a and selectively engaged with/disengaged from a reel gear 48a is supported by a turning arm 43a, while a relay gear 53a meshed with the gear 45a is provided at a position where it is arranged with the gears 45a and 46a in an almost straight line, thereby constituting the rotation transmitting system selectively driving and rotating the reel gear through the relay gear. As to an eccentric cam 76a and an engaging projection 77a provided on the gear 45a, a detection lever 75a sliding on the eccentric cam by receiving the rotational force of a reel shaft is engaged with the engaging projection 77a when the rotational force of the reel shaft runs short, so that the turning arm is turned in a direction where it is separated from the reel gear and the relay gear, respectively, and the mode is switched.</p> |
