PURPOSE:To execute sufficient and good joining even for a hollow aluminum material having large heat radiation area by restraining heat radiation from a portion except an joining part in the hollow metal material and preventing heat dispersion from the joining part. CONSTITUTION:At the time of joining the hollow metal material 1 and the other metal material 2 by interposing a brazing filler metal 3 on a joining interface between the hollow part outer wall surface 12 of the hollow metal material 1 and the other metal material 2 and melting the brazing filler metal 3 with heat conduction to the joining part from the heat generating body 4, in the condition of at least the part except the joining part at the peripheral part of the hollow metal material 1, both members are joined.
