PURPOSE:To obtain a reversible thermal recording medium capable of imparting reversible recording display properties even to a medium impossible to coat, capable of forming a high contrast image even when the recording and erasure of an image are repeatedly performed and excellent in repeated durability by bonding a material to be bonded having two-layered constitution to the rear surface of a support through an adhesive layer or self-adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:A reversible thermal layer 1 reversibly generating a transparency- opacity change or a color development-erasure change in dependence on temp. is provided on a support 3 to obtain a reversible thermal recording medium 12. In this recording medium 12, materials 7, 8 to be bonded having two-layered constitution are bonded to the rear surface of the support 3 through an adhesive layer or self-adhesive layer 4. For example, a light reflecting layer 2 is provided on the surface of the support 3 and the reversible thermal layer 1 is provided thereon. A material to be bonded such as paper or a film 7 is bonded to the rear surface of the reversible thermal recording material 12 through the self-adhesive layer 4 and a material to be bonded composed of a urethane mat 8 is bonded to the rear surface thereof through the self-adhesive layer 4 and, further, release paper 5 is bonded to the rear surface thereof through the self-adhesive layer to constitute a label sheet. |
