PURPOSE:To eliminate the standby time generated heretofore at the time of mold replacing work accompanied by the alteration of the specifications of a vulcanized tire and the risk generated because a mold opening and closing device runs across molds. CONSTITUTION:When vulcanization is completed in such a state that a mold MB is set to a second position CB, the mold MB is moved to a first position O to be connected to the mold opening and closing device 5 at the first position O and opened to feed out a vulcanized tire to the outside. A green tire is fed into the mold MB and shaping air is introduced into the green tire while the mold MB is closed to shape the green tire and, after the mold MB is closed, a heating and pressurizing medium is introduced into the green tire to start vulcanization reaction and the mold MB is released from the connection with the mold opening and closing device to be moved to the second position CB to continue vulcanization reaction. Other mold MA (or MC) after the completion of vulcanization reaction is moved to a second position CA (or CC) the first position O to continue work. |
