The invention relates to a method of diagnosing cardiac dysrhythmias and disturbances of the autonomic regulation of the heart and its vasomotricity. The method is characterised in that the cardiac rhythm is determined via ECG, pulse curve or blood pressure curve, and is recorded, 3 heart beat periods are compared in each case, this comparison is carried out consecutively for at least 50 heart beat curves and the results obtained are compared graphically with the rhythm values of a healthy heart.
