<p>A chair (10) is provided which comprises a mounting and latch member (18) which is attached to the chair arm (14) to form a male assembly section (22) and a female member (24) which is attached to the bottom (12b) of the seat support structure (12) to provide a female section thereon. The female member has a slot (26) for receiving and holding the mounting member and an attached arm (16) so that the chair arm and the seat support structure are firmly and positively afixed to each other in a manner which also readily permits intentional removal. A resilient latch (50) is resiliently and flexibly joined to the member for engaging the female member in order to prevent the male section from being withdrawn from the slot of the female member until the latch is disengaged.</p> |
