<p>PURPOSE: To improve the image quality at high speed reproduction separating a video information data block and an externally added information data block to which internally added information data are added and recording them on each track of a tape. CONSTITUTION: After dividing data in the unit of external codes by an external encoding means 4, additional information is added to the data and the resulting data are transferred to a memory 5. The memory 5 stores video information data and additional information data to two separate 1st memory areas from data with additional information added to them that are served from the means 4 by a memory operation signal from a memory control means 6. The stored data are read from the 1st frame memory areas by a control signal and fed to a SYNC and ID generating section 7 when succeeding 1-frame data are stored in the 2nd frame memory area. The generating section 7 adds a SYNC signal and an ID signal to the data in the unit of internal codes and transfers the resulting data to an internal encoder 8, where the data are encoded in the unit of internal does and the result is transferred to a P/S section 9.</p> |
