PURPOSE:To easily and exactly display the three-dimensional picture of an object. CONSTITUTION:Necessary information is read from the picture information of a three-dimensional object stored in a main memory 2. Then, the vertex coordinates of an infinitesimal polygon representing the three-dimensional object are obtained and the color and luminance data at every vertex are calculated by a geometry processor 61 in a graphic processor 6, and the coordinate value and plotting color data at an intermediate point between respective vertexes are calculated by interpolation by using the coordinate value, color, and luminance data of each vertex by a raster processor 62. Then, the plotting color data are stored on picture elements indicated by the coordinate values of a display area 51 in a video memory 5. Thus, a three-dimensional picture VD1 of the object can be plotted. |
