PURPOSE:To make possible participation in a conference for comparatively low-priced telephone terminals concerning the multi-spot communication control equipment for providing the multi-spot simultaneous video conference among video conference terminals over three spots. CONSTITUTION:Encoded (non-linear) data in different encoding systems sent from respective terminals are decoded to common decoded (linear) data and sent to a voice synthesizing part 11 by the voice control part of the multi-spot communication control equipment. On the other hand, the decoded (linear) data synthesized by the voice synthesizing part 11 and generated by subtracting user's voices are encoded to the encoded (non-linear) data different for each terminal and sent to a multiplexing part. Thus, even without preparing any expensive video conference terminals, the comparatively low-priced telephone terminals can be participated in the multi-spot video conference as voice terminals. |
