<p>The subject of this invention is a device for the abatement of fumes and dust by means of electrostatic precipitators, which comprises a frame supporting an electrostatic precipitation unit and means of extraction. This device is characterised by the fact that the electrostatic precipitation unit comprises, in a sealed and electrically insulated box-shaped container body, one or more abatement cells, each of which is made up of one or more collector pipes, made in a conducting material and connected to earth, each of which is longitudinally traversed by, without however coming into contact with, at least one conductor wire in which an electric current flow is made to pass when in the operative state. <IMAGE></p> |
