PURPOSE:To apply shearing force to kneading rubber at all times by changing the gap between a chamber wall and a rotor blade. CONSTITUTION:In the chamber 1 of a kneading device consisting of the chamber 1, which is formed in a case and has a cocoon-shaped crosssection, and a pair of rotors 3 and 3, each of which is housed in the chamber 1 and has a radially extending blade 2, a gap controlling means 5, which controls the gap between a chamber wall 1a and the rotor blade 2 by projecting some part of the chamber wall 1a, is provided. |
