PURPOSE:To provide an industrial raw powder compactor capable of reducing the oxygen content of a rare-earth permanent magnet and capable of improving the practical quality of a rare-earth permanent magnet. CONSTITUTION:The oxygen concn. in an airtight box 1a is kept at 20-6000ppm, the raw powder supplied to a raw powder receiving hopper 9 from a raw material tank 2 through an airtight valve 4 is weighed by a weighing device 10 and supplied in specified amt. to a powder feeder 11 arranged on a powder feed table 12. When the powder feeder 11 is set at a specified position, upper and lower dies 14 and 15 are operated. The obtained compact 19 is conveyed on a discharge band 20 through a chute 18, depowdered by a device 21, extruded by a feed cylinder toward the charge passage of a sintering dish traveling in parallel with the discharge band 20 and transferred on the sintering dish. The compact 19 is conveyed on the charge passage toward a sintering furnace 3 along with the sintering dish. |
