PURPOSE:To increase a trim up force and the like by composing a cylinder device for trim tilting a propeller of a boost housing provided to fit a buffer piston and free piston in a cylinder and to incoorporate the free piston in the tip of a piston rod. CONSTITUTION:Working oil is guided from a supply pump 13 through an up side valve chamber 20A of a direction changing over valve 15 to a supply- discharge pipe 26 of a change-over device in trim up to be supplied to an up chamber 38 of a hydraulic cylinder 31. Thus, as soon as a first free piston 33 is energized upward, the working oil is guided through flow paths 46A, 43, 52 to a boost chamber 50, a boost housing 36 is energized upward to extend a piston rod 34 with a large force of an up force received through a buffer piston 32 from the free piston 33 and a boost force from the boost housing 36 and trim up an outboard motor. Also in tilt up, the working oil is continuously supplied to the up chamber 38 to extend the piston rod 34 with pressure received by the first free piston 33. |
