PURPOSE:To obtain a planter capable of giving water to a plant from the bottom side of the planter, the plant being planted in the soil of the planter, by disposing a water-storing tank on the inner bottom of the planter, an overflow hole being formed at the upper part of the side plate of the water-storing tank. CONSTITUTION:The insertion hole 3 of a ceiling plate 2 is allowed to coincide with the slit of a dividing plate 6, and waterabsorbing cloth 8 is vertically disposed in a water-storing tank 1 through the insertion hole and the slit. Soil 10 is put on a root-preventing net 9, and a plant is planted in the soil. Water is supplied for the water-storing tank through a water-supplying pipe 4, and the level of the water is indicated with the raising position of a level float 11. An excessive amount of the water is discharged from the drain 13 of the planter P through the overflow hole 5. |
