The device has a framework provided with an exterior plate (1), an interior plate (2), and support points at a back face of a document e.g. photograph. Holding units are arranged at a right-hand face of the document. A stabilization unit (7) e.g. tongue, is placed at a base of the framework. An assembly formed by the framework, the support points, the holding units and the stabilization units is made up of a deformable thermoplastic material e.g. polypropylene or metal such as iron or aluminum. The holding units are carried by the exterior plate of the framework.
