<p>The window has a tubular body (1) closed at each end by transparent surfaces (3,5). The body passes through an opening in roof (T) and is fixed to it by threaded rods (10) passing through a collar. The upper end of the body, external to the roof, is closed by a hemispherical transparent dome (3). The dome encloses a parabolic reflector (4) which reflects the sunlight (R) to the inside of the body whose internal surface reflects and transmits the sunlight into the building interior. The reflector which is fixed to the hemispherical dome by a collar (12) and sealing joint, is oriented to receive sunlight during the greatest number of hours possible. The lower end of the body, inside the building, is closed by a spherical diffusing element (5) which diffuses the light inside the building.</p> |
