Externally mixing burner for gaseous fuel with burner nozzles, in which the fuel stream and an oxygen-containing gas stream can be guided separately in ducts (5, 7) as far as a common flow-off mouth and the ducts (5, 7) are in each case arranged concentrically about a common mid-axis, whilst, if the ducts (5, 7) are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the burner, a duct of each burner nozzle has a coiled circumferential wall. The burner guarantees an intensive forced intermixing of the gases maintaining the combustion, even at low flow velocities, and, along with the uniform accurate flame pattern, has a very good regulating capacity. Such burners can be used for shaping, particularly in the glass industry when handles are attached to glass jugs or glass cups, since they allow highly focused heating. <IMAGE> |
