A temperature sensor has a holder (2) and a holding part (14) above each other in a sensor housing (1). These two components in each case carry, in a groove (3, 15) which is open upwards, a measuring element (5, 17) which is seated on a contact plate (4, 16). These measuring elements (5, 17) are contacted by means of four compression springs (6, 10, 11), of which those for the holding part (14) arranged at the bottom are led through passages (8, 9) of the holder (2). <IMAGE>
