The invention relates to a clutch sleeve with a hollow-cylindrical body on the inner circumference of which splines are formed. According to the invention, a chamfered region (24) is provided at the end of each of the plurality of clutch splines to guide engagement between the clutch splines (14) and teeth of a clutch gearwheel. A reinforcing region (25) is furthermore provided near to the chamfered region (24) to reinforce an end region of the splines. Finally, a stop region (27) is provided between base regions of two adjacent splines to maintain engagement between the splines and the teeth of the clutch gearwheel in a predetermined position.
