The efficiency of an electric transformer is of considerable importance in the conversion of power. The conversion can be improved only a little by means of the known methods, such as for example the reduction of the so-called 'copper and iron losses'. According to the invention, an increase in the efficiency is achieved by the coaxial arrangement of the phases and of the transformer core.
