A small container consisting of a hollow moulding (1), especially of plastic, with an upper (2) and a lower part (3) which are separable for the insertion of objects, end surfaces (7) arranged perpendicularly to its longitudinal axis, one of which has a projection (5) and the other a recess (15) into which the projection (5) on one end surface can be introduced to provide a releasable connection and connecting means (4) on the periphery of at least one of the parts (2, 3) of the moulding (1) is designed for the production of slide-in or plug-in connection in almost any direction and for several dimensions for use as a plug-in component in such a way that there is a projection (5) in one of the end surfaces (7) which contains the recess (15) to receive the projection (5) in the other end surface (7) and there are alternating recesses (4) and projections (8) at the periphery of at least one part (2, 3) of the moulding (1) by means of which a slide-in or plug-in connection can be produced at the periphery of different mouldings by the engagement of at least one projection (9) with at least one recess (10).
