<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the bulking, etc., of activated sludge in an activated-sludge process by using this agent to extinguish specially filamentons fungus causing bulking. CONSTITUTION:This agent for preventing the bulking of activated sludge contains a water-soluble polymer contg. a quaternary ammonium salt and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (salt) as the effective component, and 0.05-20 pts.wt. of the effective component of the agent is added to 100 pts.wt. of the dry solid of activated sludge per day.</p> |
