PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of ringing by reducing the voltage between the turns of a correcting coil for countermeasure to the leaking magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A deflection yoke 10 has a pair of correcting coil bobbins 15A provided at the upper side and the lower side at the front end of a deflection yoke main body, and a pair of correcting coils 16A wound on the correcting coil bobbins 15A, and the correcting coils 16A generate reverse correcting magnetic fields to leaking magnetic fields leaking out of the deflection yoke 10. Each correcting coil bobbin 15A has a shaft 15a and an about trapezoidal rib 15c provided at the peripheral surface of the center of the shaft 15a projecting to the outer side. At the shaft 15a of the correcting coil bobbin 15A, the correcting coil 16A is wound in the alignment form making the turns of the correction coil 16A neighboring in order, to be aligned in the axial direction, while the rib 15c of the correcting coil bobbin 15A divides the correcting coil 16A into two in the axial direction, so as to limit the movements of the turns in the axial direction. |
