PURPOSE:To provide an image processing method/device that does not easily cause a failure of color arrangement by storing previously plural sets of color arrangement groups consisting of plural colors which can be used at a time and then designating one of these color arrangement groups. CONSTITUTION:A read image is displayed on the left side of a CRT monitor 98 and an automatic color arrangement key 1G is pushed. Thus a color arrangement display screen is shown on an LCD monitor 70. The mental effects or atmospheres are shown on the color arrangement display screen for the selectable color arrangement groups stored previously. Then the number of a desired color arrangement group is decided on the display screen, and one of keys 1A-9A is designated by the corresponding key. For instance, if an elegant color tone is designated, the groups of 6 types of color arrangement examples which are included in the color arrangement groups are shown in colors on the right side of the monitor 98. On this color screen of color arrangement, each group consists of 9 colors and the background color is designated for the desired color arrangement group by one of keys 1A-9A. Then other color arrangement groups are successively designated in the same group by a digitizer for the characters, graphics, closed spaces, etc., shown on the screen. |
