The present invention relates to a fishing reel. An alarm operation may be easily activated in a predetermined time interval when fishing. A dual-bearing reel (10) is capable of releasing a fishing line forward. The dual-bearing reel (10) includes: a reel main body (12), a handle (14), a spool (16) for line-winding as a rotator, an alarm unit (18), and a control unit (20). The handle (14) is mounted on the reel main body (12) to be rotated. The spool (16) rotates at least in a line-winding direction in conjunction with the rotation of the handle (14). The alarm unit (18) can give an alarm in a predetermined time interval. The control unit (20) activates the alarm operation of the alarm unit (18) in a predetermined time interval when the handle (14) rotates in the line-winding direction. |
