The cord is used for recovery of oil or for sucking up oil waste or waste fluids from industrial floors and/or other surfaces. The cord is formed as a roll, a strip or other geometrical form, and this body is used to take up oil or other waste fluids. The cord can also be used in the form of cord wool, enclosed in a textile casing as absorption material in the form of mats and/or other formations. In this form it can also be used as filter material in prefabricated containers. Another usage involves the cord wool fixed on a rotating belt which when it runs can suck up oil and then be freed from it by being pressed between rollers at different temp., dependent upon the oil type. |
