<p>A bearing system for a deflection roller (3) at the end of a conveyor belt track has a bearing flange (6) mounted on each side cheek of the track. Each bearing flange (6) has an insertion aperture (5) oriented obliquely relative to the conveying track to facilitate the removal and replacement of a journal bearing (2) for the roller (3). The bearing flange (6) is longitudinally adjustable relative to the track via eye bolt (10).
