The present invention relates to an eco-friendly turtle-shaped hexagonal net and chain link iron gabion which protects and maintains a bank of a river, a shore or a cutting and embankment land, and is installed to repair a collapsed and broken bank due to damage from wind and flood. The eco-friendly turtle-shaped gabion of the present invention does not use stones which have been filled in a prior gabion, but uses earth and sand generated during dredging or cutting and embankment at the bank of the river where the gabion is to be constructed. Thus, the present invention provides the method for manufacturing the eco-friendly turtle-shaped gabion which can reduce construction and installation costs, and can strengthen a frame maintaining and protecting shape and specification of the gabion by modifying the frame, and can manufacture a body net and a lid net by merging the hexagonal net and the chain link iron net. The eco-friendly turtle-shaped gabion is installed by being assembled on a surface of the bank where the eco-friendly turtle-shaped hexagonal and chain link iron net gabion is to be constructed. A nonwoven fabric for civil engineering is spread on a lower part of the body net to prevent loss and scour of the buried earth and sand. A special vegetation mat for strengthening a slope is covered on an upper part, and an upper surface body net iron net is covered thereon to be fastened to the body net and the frame solidly. Thus, grass seeds attached to the special vegetation mat for protecting the slope sprout so that the installed bank is created as a green hill. |
