PURPOSE:To obtain the subject foam having a short mold release time and excellent wear resistance. CONSTITUTION:This polyurethane foam is obtained by reacting a polyisocyanate with a polyol in the presence of water as a blowing agent and a catalyst. The polyisocyanate is a mixture of an isocyanate-terminated prepolymer, obtained by reacting an organic polyisocyanate with poly(oxytetrametylene)glycol, with polymethylenepolyphenylene polyisocyanate, and the catalyst essentially consists of an organotin compound. This foam can be desirably used in applications such as automotive and furniture members such as steering wheels, headrests and armrests which need be wear-resistant. |
