PRODUCTION OF CERAMICS SINTERABLE AT LOW TEMPERATURE

摘要

PURPOSE:To efficiently produce ceramics sinterable at a low temp. and having characteristics comparable to those of ceramics produced by the conventional method without requiring a process for pulverizing glass or a subsequent long- time mixing process. CONSTITUTION:An inorg. filler is coated with gel glass obtd. by a sol-gel method and the resulting composite powder is compacted and fired to produce the objective glass-ceramic composite type ceramics sinterable at a low temp. Since the gel glass is used as a glass component by coating the inorg. filler, the glass can be synthesized at a lower temp. than the temp. of the conventional process for producing glass and uniform dispersibility of the glass to the inorg. filler can be satisfactorily ensured.
