METHOD OF ADAPTING TIME CONSTANT OF ROTOR IN ELEVATOR DRIVING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To fit an estimated time constant of a rotor of a vector controlled induction motor to the actual time constant of the rotor. CONSTITUTION: Two values for torque current reference values and two values of acceleration reference values are sampled to find gradient of the linear relationship between the acceleration reference value and the torque current reference value at no-load. The gradient is subtracted from an ideal gradient related to the actual time constant of a rotor to obtain a differential signal, and the estimated time constant of the rotor is obtained in response to the differential signal.
