PURPOSE:To produce a nonmagnetic ceramic material for a magnetic head capable of avoiding the deterioration of magnetic characteristics and cracking due to difference in the coefft. of thermal expansion in the case where Mn-Zn ferrite is used in the magnetic head, improving mechanical strength and wear resistance and ensuring sliding characteristics fit for the Mn-Zn ferrite. CONSTITUTION:A compsn. is prepd. by mixing 10-40mol% NiO with 75-25 mol% MnO and 10-40mol% CoO, ZrO is added to the compsn. by 1-10wt.% and an oxide composite sintered compact is formed using the ZrO added compsn. |
