PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently surface-scarf and romeve flaws with high absorbing efficiency of laser. CONSTITUTION:Surface flaws are detected by a surface flaw detecting device 5; and the length and width of the surface flaw, the speed of a metallic strip, the arrival time at an ink marker 15 and a laser machining head, etc., are calcurated by an arithmetic processor. The information are transmitted to an ink marker controller and a laser irradiating device, and at the time when the flawed part arrives at the ink marker 15, the flawed part is marked with black ink. At the time when the flawed part arrives at the laser machining head, the flawed part is irradiated with the laser beam to melt and scarf the part. |
