PURPOSE: To synchronize all transceivers on a network at a high speed without performing central concentrated control or without performing collision detection or bit management. CONSTITUTION: In order to synchronize plural transceivers 20, 30 and 40 on a communication medium 10, when the communication medium 10 is free, jamming signals are supplied from the transceivers onto the communication medium and the jamming signals are received in all the transceivers 20-40, in response to the jam signals. When the transceiver detects a jam pattern, the its own communication is inhibited, and when the transceiver waiting for the next slot linkage starts to jam within mutual propagation delay, slot linkage is started. When all the transceivers 20-40 complete the jamming, movement as the synchronization signals of a network scale is performed with respect to the start of tacit token slot linkage. |
