PURPOSE:To provide a woven or knit fabric resistant to the opening of a hole on the fabric caused by the friction with floor in exercise, having excellent sweet absorptivity and giving comfortable feeling in wearing an provide a process for producing the fabric. CONSTITUTION:At least 30% of the total outer surface of the woven or knit fabric resistant to friction melting and having excellent sweat absorptivity is composed of a core/sheath conjugate spun fiber in which the melting point of the polymer constituting the core part is lower then that of the sheath- forming polymer by >=40 deg.C and the total fiber surface of the fabric contains >=0.1wt.% (based on the fiber) of a smoothing agent consisting of, at least, one kind of paraffins, silicones, alkylamaides or polyolefins and >=0.1wt.% (based on the fiber) of a sweat-absorbent consisting of, at least, one kind of polyesters or polyamines. |
