<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a tape end detection mechanism which is operated surely and can be made small-size, by detecting the coming of the tape end on a basis of the cancel of the following force of a following material, which is operated while following a driving means, dependent upon the rotation stop of a reel axis. CONSTITUTION:When magnetic tape 40 continues to run in the arrow direction as shown in the figure and a driving force for following material 56 exists, following arm 57 continues the following operation for cam 45. However, when the running of magnetic tape 40 is stopped and the rotation of reel axis 24' is stopped, the driving force for following material 56 disappears, and following arm 57 does not perform the following operation for cam 45, and therefore, axis pin 69 of driving piece 68 is moved from the lower part of cam 62 to higher part 61 to move moving material 72 in the right direction in the figure. Consequently, switching board 34 connected to moving material 72 is rotated in the clockwise direction from the state in the figure, and the tape is caused to run in the direction opposite to the arrow. Thus, a tape end detection mechanism which is operated surely and is small-size can be obtained.</p> |
