The invention relates to a conversion set for a centre-hung sash window of a sloping roof, having a basic frame (10) and a window sash (24). In order to provide a conversion set which makes it possible to convert a centre-hung sash window into a top-hung/centre-hung sash window without dismantling the basic frame, it is proposed that the conversion set for converting the centre-hung sash window into a top-hung/centre-hung sash window has at least two securing means (30, 32) which can be fastened on the basic frame (10) in the region of the upper frame crossmember (16) and are intended for pivot arms (34, 36), two pivot arms (34, 36) which can be mounted on both sides of the window sash (24) and are each mounted at their first end (38 and 40, respectively) in one of the securing means (30 and 32, respectively) such that they can be pivoted about a common pivot axis (42), running parallel to the upper frame crossmember (16), and can each receive, at their second end (44 and 46, respectively), the window sash (24) in the region of its original centre-hanging pin bearing (26 and 28 respectively), and that it also has a device (52, 54) for compensating for the torque exerted on the pivot arms (34, 36) by the window sash (24).
