Ovulation-inhibiting composition for hormonal contraception

The invention relates to an ovulation-inhibiting composition for hormonal contraception. Three important aspects generally apply to hormonal contraception: contraceptive safety, a control of bleeding which inspires trust, and a minimum of side effects. These requirements are met by the ovulation-inhibiting composition according to the invention. It consists of a number of spatially separate and individually removable hormone daily units, which are accommodated in a pack unit, for a cycle. The hormone daily units contain combinations of oestrogens and progestogen. The hormone daily units contain oestrogen and progestogen doses which remain the same throughout the period of intake or graded oestrogen and progestogen doses. A pause of from 4 to 7 days in intake is provided after 24 to 20 days in each case. In particular, natural oestrogens are preferably combined.
