PURPOSE:To provide a display device capable of forming jointless composite images from plural display image planes and obtaining desirable image quality of high contrast. CONSTITUTION:Optical fiber blocks 10, 11 are provided between the respective image planes 1a, 2a of two liquid crystal display elements 1, 2 and the input end faces 3a, 3b of optical fiber bundles 3, 3. Optical fibers forming the optical fiber blocks 10, 11 are smaller in diameter than optical fibers forming the optical fiber bundles 3, and also has a smaller number of opening than the number-of- opening of the optical fibers forming the optical fiber bundles 3. |
